GB150 Amplifier

The plan: Dual mono 150D's, using 2x GB150S PSU's and dual 300VA trafos. It's transformer overkill, but what the heck. Heatsink is the Conrad MF30-75, with the flange. I'm designing the case on the computer in a 3D program (Softimage XSI) and will be rendering out possible configurations for Greg to comment on. I'll post the images as they get done. All wiring will be 30AWG pure silver with cotton dielectrics, all solder is tin/copper/silver (4%). Overkill? sure. I purchased three or four hundred feet of 30AWG pure silver wire before i left Canada. I'm making interconnects, speaker cables, everything out of it, what the heck. I reckon my interconnects and speaker cables will be unrivalled at basically any price. Why the GB150D's? Primarily, the excellent reviews. Alternately, searching Greg's previous work/designs showed some fantastic components (Greg, were your internet ears burning? Smile I was taken with the super clean design using off the shelf components for a ridiculously low price. The 'David VS Goliath' aspect of the GB150D's is pretty intriguing. After arriving in Brisbane, went to visit Greg to see the 150's in action and have a listen. I'll save a full review for when i hear them with known source material and on familiar speakers. That said, with foreign music on Greg's (interesting) speakers, i was very impressed. Utterly clear and transparent, there wasn't an amp there, just music. I'm dying to hear them in my setup.
